Additional Related Services

Time and time again our clients ask us whether there is more we can do for them. The following is a list of additional related services that we provide on an occasional basis and other services that require continual attention:

Loss and damage claims

  • We'll monitor them, file them and collect the money

Post audits – within limits.

  • The carriers will honour claims going back only three months so we will review only these invoices. In other cases, especially with the couriers, the claim time frame is only 30 days. The best way to keep all your over-billed and duplicate invoiced money is through our on-going pre-audit service.

Private fleet study

  • DTA will analyze the driver log sheets and compare the cost, expense and service level required to common and dedicated alternatives.

Consolidation programmes

  • Thinking of closing one warehouse and opening another? Let us tell you what the transportation costs will be.

Carrier Comparisons

  • When considering alternative carriers, we'll tell you the cost of what it would have been had you used that carrier on the same lanes you shipped

Transborder brokerage

  • DTA does verify the shipments and will pay trans-border broker bills

  • Duty drawbacks and Customs audits

  • DTA is affiliated with a company that specializes in the area

Warehousing

  • DTA is affiliated with a number of companies that can provide specific services that would be specific to your needs

Distribution studies

  • Line-haul with drop shipping

  • Milk runs from suppliers

  • Trans-border crossing

And the list does continue; just ask us!
